LEADERSHIP TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Student Board members learn important leadership and team-building skills throughout the year and during the three sessions offered by Camp Fire USA Illinois Prairie Council.  Training includes skill building, challenge course, and fun!

REACH members are encouraged to continue their experience and dedication to REACH by serving on the REACH Student Board.  Applications will be available in the March/April newsletter, March & April morning meetings and on this website.  This is your chance to get more involved in the planning and implementation of all REACH events and activities.  The Student Board meets monthly for one hour.  New Board Turnover Meeting will be  held in May 2008. 

How To Apply to the 2007-2008 Student Board

Do you love REACH?  Do you have ideas of how you think REACH can be improved?  Do you want to get more involved in REACH?  Then REACH wants and needs you!  Experience more of the magic REACH has to offer by getting involved deeper into planning all REACH events and projects.  As a Student Board member, you will have the opportunity to develop and stretch your leadership skills as you help plan and lead REACH events and activities. All REACH members are welcome and highly encouraged to apply for a Student Board Representative or Executive position. Student Board is the heart and the driving force behind all REACH events and projects. On-going leadership and Student Board training is available, so previous board experience is not necessary.

1. Fill out application (available on website or newsletter) and email completed form to beckyrizzuto@yahoo.com no later than April 1, 2007
2. Interview details will be given to you after your application is received and reviewed
3. Interview with the current Parent and Student Board- please bring the signed, bottom portion of your application to the interview
4. You will be contacted as soon as possible!  Good luck!
