COMMUNICATION

Extra, extra, read all about it!!  It’s the Communications Committee that gets the word out to all REACH members, advisors, and volunteers through the newsletter, website and general publicity.  These committee members set up and monitor calling lists so every REACH member gets a personal reminder of the latest REACH happenings.  If there’s something going on with REACH, we’ll let you know about it!

PERFORMERS

Mrs. Kacz reachperformers@sbcglobal.net

Students perform educational skits to all District 203 and District 204 eighth graders emphasizing the pressures of substance abuse.  The commitment is to attend 6 rehearsals between November and January and attend at least 3 performances between February and April.

 REACH keeps going strong each year because of dedicated members who work hard to make REACH a quality program.  This committee gets the word out to potential new members and helps keep current members active in REACH.

SERVICE

The Service Committee is responsible for organizing the many service projects REACH supports each year.  Each year new service projects pop up and REACH happily takes them on!  Our goal is to make a positive impact on our community.

·        Rollins Present Shopping & Rollins Present Wrapping (November)

·        Rollins Holiday Parties (December)

·        Santa Train, Santa’s Elves (December)

·        Absolutely Incredible Kids Day letters (Jan/Feb/March)

·        Canned food donations at REACH Meetings (November and March)

·        Keep open to other opportunities that may arise during the year

SOCIAL

Help organize and lead the social side of REACH!  Make new friends while providing fun, drug free activities for REACH members. We want to show REACH members life straight up can be fun and amazing!
